Core Institute

Core Institute is a four-consecutive-day immersive learning experience at your institution for up to 20 educators. The content covers all the basics of using either an iPad device or a Mac computer and the related iLife and iWork apps. Participants learn how the built-in features of iOS or OS X support teaching and learning and how Apple creativity and productivity apps enhance student engagement and achievement for all learners.

It’s also an ideal solution if you’re implementing Apple products for the first time and are looking for a way to build a vanguard team of mentors.

The advantage of a Core Institute is that it shortens the time it takes for educators to learn the basics of iOS or OS X and the related creativity and productivity apps. This allows faculty to begin teaching and learning with their new technology more quickly. The short timeframe also creates an environment that makes it easier to build on each day’s learning, which enables a more effective knowledge transfer between the topics.
